Microsoft has now confirmed that both its Xbox One S and premium Xbox One X console (previously Project Scorpio) will be brought into the Mixed Reality (previously Windows 10 VR) fold. With PS VR now out, Microsoft is on the backfoot when it comes to virtual reality - but something is coming, and soon. But it's not quite the Xbox One VR headset that many gamers are waiting for.

But that's "just" more FF, I don't think that alone would make Phil frustrated enough to say what he said in the X-Cast interview. We don't know if FF VII Rebirth is coming this year it most likely isn't. Microsoft prevented themselves on that one. Sony didn't prevent MS from making a VR headset or even officiating/whitelisting a 3P headset for Xbox. PSVR2 exclusive content for RE4R also wouldn't make someone like Phil Spencer basically say that Sony getting 3P exclusives "makes it hard for Xbox to be Xbox" they've known for ages they don't have a VR solution on Xbox, they've known for ages PSVR2 was a thing and would release, and would get VR-enhanced versions of games.

They're likely joyous they don't need to placate a last-gen version of that game the way Sony has to.even if Series S somehow manages to have worst performance than a PS4 Pro :/. You really think Microsoft gives two shits that SF6 doesn't have an XBO version? They want to sell Xbox Series consoles, not the dead weight that is Xbox One.
